Vanilla and Yoghurt Pound Cake

The first time I ever had pound cake was at Starbucks and it was incredible and when I was in Florida with Karlin she was amazing enough to show me how to make it.  I have twisted and tweaked a recipe and here is my version of a pound cake 🙂
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
6   large eggs
3 cup SR  flour
1 cup Greek yoghurt
3 cup sugar
1/2 lb (2 sticks) butter

Directions:
Preheat oven to 170C degrees.  In a large mixing bowl, combine and cream the butter, sugar, and add the yoghurt.

Mix the baking soda and flour together.  Mix thoroughly !

Add the sifted flour to the creamed mixture alternating with eggs, beating each egg one at a time.

Add the vanilla

Pour the mixture into a greased and floured 10- inch tube pan.

Bake for 1 hour 20 minutes.

Now I should note here with this cake, my tin was too small and it does rise ALOT.  So luckily I had place a tray under the cake and saved the erupting mess from going all over the oven.  So please be careful.  Serve warm or cooled.  Awesome-ness !!!
